The evad3rs generated quite the controversy within the jailbreaking community for bundling TaiG into Evasi0n, as the Chinese software has been found to distribute pirated apps through its default repositories.
We have decided to remotely disable the default installation of TaiG in China for further investigations on the piracy issue.

There have also been unconfirmed reports that TaiG is potentially malicious, sending private information back to the Chinese company that developed the software. In another tweet, however, pod2g claims that those allegations are simply not true. We’ll update this post as we learn more information, and recommend that all users exercise caution in choosing to install the iOS 7 jailbreak.
