CanOpener promises better music on iOS for audiophiles

Audiophiles of the world, take note: CanOpener, an alternative music application, was recently released on to the App Store. According to the developer, the application is designed for listening to music when wearing headphones. The application allows you to select and play music from your library, but then also be able to make adjustments beyond Apple’s preset EQ options.

There are also features that claim to make your headphones perform more like a speaker setup. The application also has FLAC support, though those files have to be imported through iTunes’ File Sharing mechanism, as iOS doesn’t offer native support for such files. That alone might make this app a must-have for dedicated audiophiles.

The app itself is very sleek, with a design that makes even the more advanced capabilities seem relatively simple.
