Snapchat users now send 400 million snaps daily, according to a source at Snapchat. To put this number in perspective, our sources at Facebook are still reporting that 350 million photos are uploaded daily worldwide on the network, and that Instagram users are uploading 55 million photos daily.
This is actually astonishing. Snapchat, a service that got its start on iOS and isn’t even a true photo sharing platform (along the likes of Flickr, Imgur, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, etc), has passed all of the above in terms of raw image shares. Do you find value in Snapchat? Enough value to, as this report suggests, use it over all other social photo sharing platforms? I sure don’t.
