Apple on Tuesday announced an all-new thinner and lighter 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. The refreshed notebooks pack Intel fourth-generation Haswell processors, delivering faster performance and increased battery life. The 13-inch model can last up to 9 hours on one charge, while the 15-inch gets up to 8 hours.
The 13-inch model starts at $1299 with a 2.4 GHz dual-core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM, Intel Iris Graphics, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and a 128 GB solid-state drive. The 15-inch model starts at $1999, a generous $200 discount, for a 2.4 GHz quad-core i7 processor, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and 8 GB of RAM. Both notebooks are available for purchase today.
