OS X 10.9 Mavericks GM available for developers

Apple has just updated the Developer Center with the GM build of OS X 10.9 Mavericks. This comes ahead of a general consumer rollout, which is expected to take place later this month.

Developers, get to downloading–this update has to be downloaded from Apple, and won’t be released as an OTA update through the Mac App Store. Everyone else, hold tight for the full release.

Mavericks brings various new features, as well as improved battery life for Apple’s MacBook line. In addition to Mavericks, many expect to see updates to the iWork and iLife suites of software, and perhaps updates to Aperture and Apple’s other pro-sumer software with the release of the new Mac Pro.
