Apple possesses 10 percent of corporate cash

apple brand

Apple has been named the best brand of 2013. While the definition of such an award is fuzzy at best, there are some financial data points that seem to show just how massive the Cupertino company has become.

Apple is in possession of 10 percent of all non-financial corporate cash, which is held in their $147 billion savings. Perhaps more interesting, the company generates more profit than the three other largest brands in the world, including Google, Coca-Cola, and IBM. That’s a staggering fact, especially considering that Apple caters to the consumer market, and not the traditionally high-margin government and big business crowd.
