We're still working hard on the jailbreak. May have all the pieces at this point (but not certain yet).

With the release of iOS 7, the only major reason to stay on an earlier firmware was to retain a jailbreak. That may soon cease to be an issue, as Planetbeing, one of the principal developers working to find an exploit in iOS 7, has offered an encouraging bit of news.
It would seem that the jailbreak team has found an exploit they believe to be sufficient to offer a jailbreak (whether or not it will be untethered isn’t clear), but that the team hasn’t yet been able to make it work outside of test conditions. Still, it’s fantastic and encouraging to see such progress being made.
However, it’s important to note that this is very much a work-in-progress. In other words, don’t pester the team on social media for a release date or other details.
