It may be somewhat pointless that this is even hitting the Apple rumor mill (considering Apple’s keynote is tomorrow), but new photos of alleged low-cost iPhone logic boards have surfaced this morning. The latest leak shows the part completely assembled, but unfortunately with a shielding piece in place that keeps most chips and components out of sight. The first set, embedded above, comes via C Technology.
Another set of photos picturing the same component has also surfaced, via Chinese site Sina Weibo.
As MacRumors notes, this logic board part looks almost identical to that of the iPhone 5S. There is much speculation that the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C will likely have very similar–and in some cases, identical–hardware, but it appears Apple has reworked the logic board in particular to be physically laid out like the iPhone 5S.
