John Sculley Gets Apple Store to Carry Shine Activity Tracker

John Sculley — widely known for his part in ousting Steve Jobs from Apple Computer, Inc. in the ’80s — is behind a product now being sold in the Apple Store: the Shine activity tracker.

The device connects to your iPhone and sends information that it has collected to the device, which is then interpreted by an app. It’s a simple device, though the name of the company (Misfit Wearables) is definitely a callback to the Think Different ad campaign.
