A new report from Gigya says that only two percent of social sharing happened on Google+ in Q2 of this year (April-June 2013). That’s a fraction of the sharing that took place on Facebook, Twitter and even Pinterest, Gigya says.
I’ve actually started to find Google+ useful for certain things as of late. I see the network as a mesh between Twitter and Facebook, whereas the former is usually for those who you’ve met online and the latter is usually strictly for those closest to you in real life. Google+ brings easy privacy controls that make Facebook-like sharing with those you might not know in real life a breeze.
