‘Deus Ex: The Fall’ Updated to Remove Jailbreak Restriction

Deus Ex

Square Enix ignited quite the controversy when it decided to release its popular shooter game Deus Ex: The Fall with a restriction that prevented users with jailbroken devices from playing. After a backlash of negative comments, the game studio quickly back-peddled on its move and promised to remove the restriction in a future update.

That update arrived today on the App Store, available free to all those who have already forked over $4.99 for the app. Other changes also include various gameplay tweaks, such as improved enemy reaction, increased XP rewards for completing objectives and reduced weapon costs.
