Apple TV’s Firmware Decrypted by SHAtter

According to the Dev-Team, the Apple TV’s firmware can be decrypted using the SHAtter exploit that will be used in the upcoming greenpois0n jailbreak. This doesn’t necessarily mean the the Apple TV can be jailbroken, but it is a good step forward nonetheless. The firmware was uploaded to Apple’s servers to be used for recovery purposes, although the actual device itself hasn’t yet made its way into customers hands.

If you’re familiar with vfdecrypt, you can use that key to decrypt the image and mount it.  If you do so, feel free to use the comments section to discuss what you discover there :)  (And of course, thanks @pod2g!)
