iOS Simulator Offers a Look at iOS 7 on the iPad

Included with every download of XCode — Apple’s official OS X and iOS software development kit — is an iOS simulator. The simulator, which includes only a limited set of applications and features, allows developers to test the application directly in XCode.

9to5mac has posted images from that simulator that show exactly what iOS 7 will look like on an iPad. These images show highlight how early this simulator build is, as shown by the presence of the flashlight toggle in Control Center — the iPad does not have a camera flash.

In order to activate this part of the simulator, developers need only copy the following file:
