Yet another offspring of the instant-search craze, iTunes instant brings lightning-fast results to Apple’s popular music service. Generally speaking, iTunes is quite clunky and slow, and can make searching for many different songs a bit of a nuisance. iTunes Instant, on the other hand, gives you zero-click results, and once you have found what you’re looking for, it will redirect you to iTunes.app where you can purchase it. It also searches through movies and TV shows (but not applications). Unlike some of the other instant-search spinoffs that have been created lately, iTunes Instant is actually pretty useful. Plus, the kid that made it is only 15 years old.
