Rockstar Games recently updated Grand Theft Auto III to version 1.30, which optimizes the app for the iPhone 5, implements iCloud storage to maintain story progression across all iDevices, and allows users to create custom playlists with their own music.
In addition, the new update contains a variety of new bug fixes, which should provide a fairly glitch-free experience.
Grand Theft Auto III is a port of the classic game that revolutionized the controversial franchise and was released to commemorate the game’s tenth anniversary. Currently, the app is available for $4.99 in the App Store. It is a universal app compatible with iOS devices running iOS 4.3 or above.
I highly recommend downloading the game if you have not done so. The game runs well on mobile devices and is just as enjoyable as it was in 2001.
Here’s the official changelog.
• iPhone 5 widescreen support
• iCloud save game support for seamless progression across all your iOS devices.
