Apple will often times provide visual cues in its annual WWDC logo, hinting at future software or hardware features on the horizon. Within the iFans forums, users have already been speculating to great length about what the WWDC 2013 logo could represent since late April.
Joshua Merill, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and founder of TapCanvas and MogoTix, writes:
Apple has been known to drop hints about its upcoming releases in its press invitations, but there have been relatively few guesses about this year’s WWDC invite. Now it makes sense. Each layered color represents a preloaded app in the new iOS 7.
Yesterday we heard that Apple will be assigning specific colors to native apps in the forthcoming iOS 7 software update, which should be in store for a flatter design overall, so could that be what the WWDC 2013 logo is foreshadowing? Does anything in the WWDC logo stick out to you?
