We’ve heard plenty of rumors about a lower-cost iPhone that would combat the low-cost Android handsets that are so popular across the world, so the latest developments shouldn’t come as a surprise. Coming by way of Macotakara, an accurate source for such rumors, are reports that the iPhone 5S and an upcoming low-cost iPhone will be available in various colors.

These colors would certainly help serve to make the iPhone line more popular as there is an increasing amount of competition from Android devices. In fact, one of the most compelling aspects of Nokia’s Lumia line are the multiple colors. People enjoy being able to further personalize their mobile device by selecting what they consider to be a color that better represents their own personal taste.

The iPhone 5S is apparently slated to include a dual flash for the camera module, which would help the iPhone continue to be a front-runner in terms of optics among high-end Android and Windows Phone devices.
