You may remember me covering a tweak called Pluck a few weeks ago, which lets you display a song picker on the iOS lockscreen for quick music-picking. Pluck isn’t the only option when it comes to having quick access to your music, though, with one tweak in particular exhaustively named PowerMusic MiniPlayer being a prime contender.
This tweak’s approach is notably more feature-filled and less streamline, though. Tapping the Music.app icon that you can see in the screenshots above will display a dialog that shows every single on of your albums. Navigating through the albums is done by swiping left and right, and you can also swipe up or down to adjust your volume level.
Additionally, this tweak comes with a notification center widget. That’s notably something that is lacking with Pluck, but it’s also something that can be found alone as part of other tweaks. This widget provides multitasking bar-like controls as well as access to the very same picker that you can use on the lockscreen.
The tweak is made by developer MPow and is available right now in the BigBoss repo on Cydia for $2.00.
