Twitterrific 5

Twitterrific and Tweetbot are definitely the two big contenders (besides the official client, of course) when it comes to iOS Twitter clients. The former has today been updated with “badge icon counts, support for Favstar, faster loading times, and more.”

The latter of my little list has also received an update today. The most important feature you’ll find in Tweetbot 2.8 is a new media timeline that appears as an option at the top of your regular timeline. Tapping the button will allow you to scroll through only the media (such as photos, videos and vines) on your timeline.

A new app released today called FocusTwist comes from developer Arqball and allows you to focus your photos after they are taken. What the app actually does is takes multiple photos at different focus points and allows you to choose the one you prefer the most.

Last on today’s list is the official Discovery channel app for iPad. Both the Discovery channel and TLC iOS apps have today been updated to include second-screen software called Plus. It syncs live with your favorite channels and provides “factoids, photos and more!”
