While there are a handful of extremely popular jailbreak tweaks, such as Auxo and soon-to-be-released Velox, there are also several others that go under the radar. This week, two lesser-known tweaks in “FBPrivacy” and “NikeNotification+” make their debut on Cydia. FBPrivacy, developed by iFans forum member omokas, has a number of useful options that allow you to enhance your Facebook privacy settings on iPhone. NikeNotification+ by Skram, simply put, adds a Nike+ widget to Notification Center. Learn more about both ahead.
FBPrivacy works with both the Facebook and Messenger apps, allowing you to hide read receipts and active typing bubbles from the recipient, enable in-app Siri dictation, send more than one photo per message, disable all reminders on Messenger, and enable VoIP for Messenger. Moreover, the app shows timestamps for each individual message. If you’re a Facebook power user, or even just a casual lurk, you’ll be sure to find these options useful. FBPrivacy is available on Cydia for $1.00 from the ModMyi repository.
NikeNotification+ is a useful tweak that adds Nike+ functionality to the drag-down Notification Center on iOS devices. Within the widget is information about your Nike Fuel points, total distance, total time, total calories, average heart rate and average pace. This tweak essentially replaces the need to use the Nike+ app when you’re only looking for a quick overview of your running or fitness information. NikeNotification+ is available on Cydia for 99 cents from the ModMyi repository. Are you a fan of these two tweaks?
