With the ousting of former iOS head Scott Forstall in late October, speculation has been mounting in regards to what the future of the software holds in both design and functionality. Last we heard, iOS 7 has been delayed because of “a rather significant system-wide UI overhaul,” which likely relates to Apple design chief Jonathan Ive taking over all of human interface at the Cupertino-based corporation.
iFans forum member Alijah Lettieri makes an interesting point about what the future design of iOS could look like, suggesting that the current chrome appearance of the Music app, which received a facelift in iOS 6, could foreshadow the entire look of the iOS 7 update. In other words, the chrome or silver look of the Music app in iOS 6 will be applied across the entire user interface of iOS 7. Do you agree?
