As many of you know, Apple’s iOS 6.1.3 update effectively patches the famed evasi0n jailbreak released in February by the evad3rs. Those that purchase a new iOS device from now on out are taking a gamble as to if their device will be jailbreak-able–there’s no way to tell via the outside packaging.
Sadly for them, Cyril–known as Pod2g in the jailbreaking scene–has confirmed that the evad3rs are not working toward a jailbreak of iOS 6.1.3 as it is such a “minimal update.” According to him, they’re “waiting for a major release.” Hit the break for the full embedded tweet.
. @xld2s59 we are not working on a 6.1.3 jailbreak, that would be too much efforts for a minimal update. We’re waiting for a major release.
