It’s a pain to manually sift through your iTunes library adding lyrics to each individual song. At the same time, however, it’s very nice to have all your music’s lyrics right at your fingertips within Music.app. There are of course apps that will provide lyrics while playing your music, but there’s a jailbreak tweak that will add lyrics directly to your Music–automatically.
The tweak is called Lyricalizer and is compatible with iOS 5 and 6. Sadly, though, you’re going to have to decide if it’s worth its price. Lyricalizer costs $1.29, but I personally think this is the kind of tweak that makes jailbreaking great. It’s a simple functionality that makes what would otherwise be relatively hard to do, much easier.
If the song in question already has lyrics, Lyricalizer will leave it alone. If, however, the tweak doesn’t detect any lyrics, it will download them from “one of three popular lyric services” and cache them. There are no options to configure. Lyricalizer is $1.29 and is available on the BigBoss repo in Cydia.
