iPhone users have become increasingly vocal about the stagnant look and feel of the iOS platform, but there has been a sense of hope on the horizon ever since former iOS head Scott Forstall was given the boot in late October. iOS 7 could launch in three months or less, so anticipation is on the rise.
Just in case Apple wasn’t aware of what the iPhone community is hoping for in future software versions, a number of iOS concept videos have surfaced on the web in past months. This latest one comes from Australian designer Jesse Head, who shows off a new approach to iOS multitasking.
The one-minute video details the concept of full app tiles for multitasking, which is somewhat similar to the jailbreak tweak Auxo. This tiled pane would have search functionality, live previews, music and brightness controls, system toggles and multitouch gestures. I’m a huge fan.
