Quick Tip: Delete Characters in Calculator.app

It’s not often that we discover little aspects of iOS that were previously unbeknownst to us. Today’s one of those days, at least for me. As the above video demonstrates, you can easily backtrack through your Calculator.app entries with a simple swipe. Swiping either left or right will erase the last character you typed in the case of hitting the wrong number.

I have in the past been somewhat frustrated with Calculator.app when making a mistake. Previously to discovering this trick, I simply hit the “C” key and started my calculation all over. This little trick definitely comes in handy. I don’t know about you, but I love finding little details that Apple has included in iOS. This one seems to be lesser known.
