While there was a lack of noteworthy smartphone launches in the months following the iPhone 5 release in late September, three competitors have recently unveiled brand new smartphones that give the Apple handset a run for its money. But, if you could only choose one, which would it be? Read on for a complete overview of each smartphone ahead. 

Samsung Galaxy S4

The flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 packs a 1.9 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5-inch 1080p display, 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2 GB RAM, 4G LTE, NFC, up to 64 GB of internal storage, and a 2,600 mAh battery. The smartphone has a polycarbonate enclosure, runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and ships in April.

Next up is the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, featuring a full 4.2-inch touchscreen with 1280 x 768 pixels resolution at 356 PPI. The BlackBerry 10 handset has a 1.5 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4470 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1080p video recording, MicroSD slot and NFC. Available as of today on AT&T.

Finally, the HTC One boasts a 4.7-inch display with an impressive 468 PPI, 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a new “UltraPixel” camera that pairs with software called “Zoe” to give users the ability to take high-resolution photos with professionally designed cuts, transitions and effects. The handset launches in the U.S. by late April.
