Mark your calendars, ladies and gentlemen, as the Galaxy S IV launch event is less than three days away. Samsung will take the stage in New York City on March 14th to unveil its flagship fourth-generation Galaxy smartphone, and has now tweeted the above teaser image to increase hype for the launch. From what is visible, the handset looks to have at least relatively the same design as its Galaxy S III predecessor. Recent rumors suggest that the device will have eye-based scrolling and 3D camera and processing technologies.
Samsung’s Galaxy S IV is also expected to have a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixel true HD resolution, sporting a pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch. Moreover, the handset is said to pack a quad-core Exynos processor under the hood, 4G LTE cellular connectivity and possibly a new flexible display technology that will prevent the screen from breaking. The smartphone should run Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, and is expected to ship in April, just weeks after the launch event.
