The flagship BlackBerry Z10 smartphone will become available on American carrier AT&T on March 22nd, according to sources for Bloomberg. On that day, the handset will become available for purchases in stores throughout the United States.
BlackBerry relies on the United States for about one-fifth of its overall revenue, so it’s an important market that it must be successful in to ensure future growth. At the helm of the iPhone and Android smartphones, however, the challenge will be a difficult one.
Verizon Wireless has confirmed that it plans to offer the latest BlackBerry device by the end of March, while T-Mobile is aiming for a mid-March launch. Sprint, on the other hand, will carry the BlackBerry Q10 with a full QWERTY keyboard in lieu of the Z10.
