Grant Paul, the maker of popular jailbreak tweak Gridlock, has updated the Cydia package to support iOS 6. For those unfamiliar with Gridlock, it allows you to arrange the icons on your home screen in whichever way you want by easily creating blank icon spaces.

GridLock is most effective when coupled with existing iOS themes or tweaks, making an iPhone or iPod touch look far from stock. Traditionally, Apple does not give much flexibility in terms of the home screen layout. Icons can only be arranged linearly.

Paul put a lot of effort into updating Gridlock to support the latest iOS 6 update, so he has decided to charge $4.99 for the tweak on the Cydia Store. Fortunately, existing users of the original version will be able to upgrade to Gridlock 2.0 for a discounted price of $1.99.
