One of the lesser known features apart of iOS 6 is that, if you have an iPhone 5, you can tap a button while recording a video to capture a still. This feature has been kept from users of older devices such as the iPhone 4 due to what I’m assuming are performance concerns. Well fret no longer, because a simple yet effective jailbreak tweak is once again here to save the day.
The tweak is called “Still Capture Enabler 2″ and it works with iPhone 3Gs, 4, and 4S. It also covers the 4th generation iPod touch, as well as all iPad models that have cameras. It’s completely free, available this minute from the BigBoss repo in Cydia. Do you have any use for this feature? Why do you think Apple added it in the first place?
