ZodTTD, the curator of several popular iOS emulators for Gameboy Advance, PlayStation and other legacy consoles, has reached out to the iFans community to look for individuals that are interested in beta testing the upcoming gPSPhone 8 emulator for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. If you are interested in becoming a beta tester, answer the poll and post a comment within the official forum thread.

“I could use some help getting the kinks out of gpSPhone 8. It’ll be free, support iOS 5 and higher, have a new user interface, native retina and iPad support, better cheat code support, etc,” writes ZodTTD. “It’ll have a lot of code changed so it’s bound to have issues too. The help ironing out issues with gpSPhone 8 will most likely carry over into the rest of the emulators I update and add. Next on my list to receive updates will be n64ios and psx4all.”

To facilitate the beta testing process, ZodTTD plans to setup a hassle-free public beta repository for users to download the emulator and help with testing and bug reporting. A number of iFans members have already expressed their willingness to help, which really proves how strong the jailbreaking community remains. Follow along in the forum thread and on Twitter for further updates.
