We try to keep you in the know whenever a cool new tweak is released. Today’s iOS alteration comes in the form of a simple option added to your “Messages” setting pane. It’s labeled “Send Typing Notifications” and lets you toggle whether or not the person on the other end of your conversation can see if you’re typing.
This little bubble doesn’t appear at all if you’re not using iMessage, but if you are, there’s no way to turn it off. Frankly, I think it’s one of the coolest features of using iMessage, along with the ability to send read receipts. But if you think that letting the person on the other end know when you’re typing is a bit too intrusive, try “TypingPrivacy,” available on Cydia for $0.99.
