AppleInsider notes this morning that major online retailers — including Amazon, MacMall, and J&R — are listing the current generation Thunderbolt Display as out of stock. It goes without saying that a refresh for Apple’s display line-up is definitely due, and this only hints that it may be coming relatively soon.
Apple’s display models — which include the current Thunderbolt Display, and its younger brother, the Cinema Display — have traditionally taken technologies from the latest iMac models. As we all know, the iMac line just saw a revolutionary refresh a little more than a month ago. Could that mean we will see a thinner, low-glare, MagSafe 2 Thunderbolt Display in the near future?
