Microsoft Store Compared to Apple Store on Christmas Eve

Apple Store 1 Apple Store 2

These pictures don’t even need to be put into words. While the Apple Store is packed with dozens of customers on Christmas Eve, the Microsoft Store is a ghost town and has more employees than customers. It’s a losing formula for Microsoft: consumer demand for Windows 8 PCs is on the decline, the Surface tablet is a flop and Windows Phone 8 is the only product line that has a glimpse of hope for Microsoft right now. Anyone else find that empty Microsoft Store seriously awkward?
