Artist Corner: For Kids and Grown-Ups Who Like Drawing

Artist Corner is a brand new app by Xidasoft that launched on the App Store last week, a fun-filled interactive digital canvas that empowers kids to create masterpieces with a realistic look and feeling. Artist Corner allows you to color in drawings, create masks, scratch paint and even draw pictures yourself. The app isn’t just limited to children, however, as grown-ups can also join in the creativity by drawing their own doodles and creations.

To make your drawings look as realistic as possible, Artist Corner provides a large color palette and numerous virtual, on-screen drawing tools. Drawing tools include pencils, crayons, markers, and paint brushes, each available in a multitude of colors. Moreover, Artist Corner makes people masks, animal faces and even more pages to color available through the Artist Corner online store to expand on your creativity.

When a child or their parent has finished drawing something, he or she can view the creation in “My Corner” and then use the “Online Gallery” to share the work with friends and family around the world. You can both like and comment on drawings, which is positive reinforcement for the child that created the illustration. For those without an iPad, you can print off your colored pages and masks and show them in real life.

Artist Corner is a free download on the App Store for the iPad running iOS 4.3 or later.
