Remember how Consumer Reports retracted their recommendation of the iPhone 4? Well, it looks like Apple has been doing a little cleaning up, and went ahead and deleted any references to the report throughout their forums. Apparently this is the norm for Apple, who has a habit of “selectively removing” certain posts.
Now, Apple has every right to manage their boards in anyway that they choose, but I can’t imagine a better way to lose customer trust than to do something like this.
I think it would be in Apple’s best interest to just admit that there is a problem instead of covering it up.
