Apple Now Selling New iMacs, Unlocked iPhone 5

Apple has made its new 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs available for purchase on its online retail store, with shipping estimates of 1-3 days and 2-3 weeks respectively. The company has admitted that the all-in-one desktop computer will face supply shortages heading into the new year, likely because its new 80 percent thinner design isn’t the easiest thing to manufacture.

Additionally, Apple is also now selling unlocked GSM models of the iPhone 5 for between $649 and $849. As with the iPhone 4S, the unlocked iPhone 5 will not work with CDMA carriers like Verizon Wireless or Sprint. It will work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the United States, in addition to other GSM carriers around the world. The unlocked iPhone 5 is available to ship in one week.
