Benchmarks For Fourth-Gen iPad Reveal 1.4 GHz Dual-Core Processor and 1 GB of RAM

Early benchmark results for the fourth-generation iPad have surfaced, revealing that the tablet packs a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Apple announced that the latest iPad has a new A6X processor that provides quad-core graphics, a step up from the triple-core graphics that the third-generation iPad delivers. The new iPad also has a Geekbench score of 1757, which is over double the 791 mark of the previous iPad with Retina display. The fourth-generation iPad is available for pre-order and goes on sale Friday.
