Apple announced today during its special media event in San Jose that it has sold over 3 million units of its new iPod family — that’s including the fifth-generation iPod touch. In addition, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that over 200 million devices have already been upgraded to the iOS 6 software update. That’s quite remarkable, Cook notes, and the CEO suggests that it’s likely the fastest software adoption rate ever.
