T-Mobile sent out invites today for a new product launch event that will take place on the evening of October 29th, Engadget reports. The event will involve T-Mobile’s full fall lineup and is scheduled to take place just hours after Microsoft and Google host their own media events earlier in the day. It has been speculated that T-Mobile could perhaps release its own Windows Phone 8 lineup of devices, or even a T-Mobile Nexus during this launch event.
The event will most likely not involve the iPhone, however, since T-Mobile is still in the process of restructuring its network to provide 4G coverage on the iPhone-compatible 1900 MHz band across the United States. Nevertheless, the Monday after next is shaping up to be quite an interesting day for T-Mobile, and perhaps its most interesting since introducing the very first Android device several years ago.
