The Wall Street Journal reports:
Asian suppliers for Apple Inc. have started mass production of a new tablet computer smaller than the current iPad, executives at component makers said, as the Silicon Valley company tries to stay competitive against tablets from rivals such as Google Inc. and Amazon.com Inc.
A number of sources are now reporting that a 7.85-inch iPad mini has entered production. At the same time, a lot of people remain skeptical that Apple will release a smaller iPad, especially since it is rumored to have a price point that is already occupied by the iPod touch. Do you think an iPad mini is actually coming?
