AT&T today announced the expansion of its 4G LTE network in nine additional markets across the United States. As of Thursday, the following markets now have 4G LTE coverage: Anchorage, Alaska; Bakersfield, Calif.; Bridgeport, Conn.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Modesto, Calif.; North Montgomery County, Md.; Northern New Jersey; Omaha, Neb. and Syracuse, N.Y.
Better yet, a further 42 markets are set to be blanketed by 4G LTE coverage by the end of this year. With a next-generation iPhone, rumored to support LTE, on the horizon, now is a better time than ever for AT&T to expand their 4G LTE network.
