If you are a fan of the Pokemon series, especially the collection of games by Nintendo, you’ll be delighted to hear that “Little Masters” is expected to make its App Store debut tomorrow pending approval, which the game’s developers indicate should be a smooth process. The game is essentially a Pokemon mimic for iPhone, with Cult of Mac explaining the details:
The freemium title features a “large number of monsters to capture and train,” all of which boast different skills and abilities and later evolve to become even more powerful. As you put together your team, you can use them to battle against your friends, or against other random users over the Internet.
It is highly unlikely that Nintendo will ever release its insanely popular Pokemon series for iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, since the games are incredibly important to the Gameboy and DS franchises. But, in the meantime, check out Little Masters tomorrow and let us know if it provides a similar look and feel. Now, excuse me, my Pikachu is evolving.
