MacBook Pro with Retina Display Now ‘In Stock’

If you have been looking to purchase a new MacBook Pro with Retina display, shipping estimates on the next-generation notebook now appear as “in stock” on Apple’s online retail store with a 2 – 3 days delivery estimate. Today marks the first time that the new Mac has been available to order without any shipping delays since Apple launched the notebook in June. At one point, customers faced shipping estimates up to 3 – 4 weeks.

The new MacBook Pro is ultra thin at just 0.71 inches — and just 4.46 pounds — and has a high resolution Retina display that packs 2880 x 1800 pixels across its 15.4-inch display. That’s 220 pixels per inch and 5,184,000 pixels altogether, making the new MacBook Pro the “world’s highest resolution notebook display.” The notebook also features flash architecture, dual USB 3 and Thunderbolt ports and faster Ivy Bridge processors by Intel.
