Fido Now Offering LTE in Select Canadian Markets

Good news for Canadian smartphone users, as mobile carrier Fido now provides 4G LTE coverage in Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, St. John’s, Toronto and Vancouver. Canadian consumers have been fairly limited to 4G LTE access outside of the three major carriers in the country — Bell, Rogers and Telus — but now have a low-cost option of obtaining 4G LTE speeds in select cities. Fido will most certainly expand its 4G LTE network to other markets nationwide, although exact expansion details remain unknown.
