Apple and Motorola Agree to Licensing Deal in Germany

Motorola Mobility agreed to license its standards-essential patents in Germany to Apple, according to a filing on Monday. In the deal, which chiefly includes cellular standard-essential patents, Apple agreed that it is legally responsible for past damages in connection to the patents.

You almost forget about this case entirely because of the mammoth lawsuit between Apple and Samsung.
