It’s worth noting today that Microsoft has changed its logo for the first time in 25 years to reflect the design of Windows 8 alongside its Xbox 360 and Office productivity suite services. Microsoft is taking a fresh approach with its new colorful and vibrant logo, a sharp contrast from its previous editions that have always been merely italicized, black font.
After releasing Windows Vista to much criticism during what could be considered a period of dark years for the company, Microsoft has bounced back in recent years and appears poised to become a very exciting, and likely successful, player in the industry with its upcoming Windows Phone 8, Windows 8 and Microsoft Surface tablet offerings.
