AT&T Also Preparing for September Launch of iPhone

AT&T could be prepping for a late September launch of the next-generation iPhone, if a new report from BGR proves to be accurate. The carrier is reportedly planning to launch the new iPhone in the third or fourth week of September with an “all-hands-on-deck policy” for employees that extends through the middle of October.

Moreover, a separate AT&T source has noted that the carrier has moved a large training event in early October to a different date because it conflicts with a major announcement; of course, this is more than likely the next-generation iPhone. A late September launch of the iPhone on AT&T lines up nicely with previous rumors suggesting that Apple will unveil its new iPhone on September 12th and officially release the handset on September 21st.
