Apple has just released iOS 6 beta 4, which features a few changes from the previous beta. Most notable, however, would be the fact that YouTube.app is gone. Probably removed due to the increased tensions between Apple and Google, the app has been around since the original iPhone was launched. All signs point to Google releasing a dedicated YouTube app through the iOS App Store, with one YouTube representative stating the following to 9to5mac:
We are working with Apple to ensure we have the best possible YouTube experience for iOS users.
Fret not, YouTube fans – you will still be able to get your daily fix of cats and pranks on your iOS device one way or another.
The beta contains a few other notable changes, including improved sharing via BlueTooth, tweaks to Passbook, and further improvements to Apple’s Maps application. In other words, iOS 6 continues to march towards a stable, feature-complete release.

Update: Apple has responded to this situation with the following statement:
“Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.”
