Have you ever wanted to make your Mac’s keyboard sound like a typewriter, for old times’ sake? Now you can with Theo Watson’s Noisy Typer for OS X. The tiny app adds sound effects to every normal qwerty key that you press. It even gives a “ding” when you press return. Other unique sounds occur when pressing the spacebar, delete key, arrow keys, or scroll up/down buttons.
Go run this fun tweak and tell everyone else in the office to do the same, turning their volumes to maximum. It’ll sound like an old newspaper office in there. Also, the developer challenges people to try this in a local café like Starbucks. Have fun with it and let us know what you think! Oh, and just type qaz123 to disable the sound effects.
